If you wish to drive to the Gunrunner Store, you may take immediate possession of your firearm upon passing the FBI Instant Check (out of state residents may not take possession of handguns – these must be shipped to your local dealer). Shipping/insurance on handguns varies from $11 to $30 each in the lower 48 states (more for Alaska) and UPS Ground/Insured is $25/gun for long guns (rifles or shotguns). If you have purchased multiple handguns, we can get more than one in a box and the price is much less than $11-$30 per handgun. We will ship as cheaply as possible! Same with multiple long guns in some cases - we usually get two rifles in each carton if there are not factory boxes or other big accessories. Ammunition cannot be shipped with the firearms and will require additional charges. Any overly large or heavy guns such as cannons or extra long muzzleloaders will require extra insurance. We will insure your firearms for the same amount as the bid price. We will expertly pack your firearms and we assure you they will get to you safely.

If you pick up your firearms at the Gunrunner Store, we must charge 6.5% Ohio State Sales Tax. Remember that there is a $15 charge per invoice (not each firearm).

If you reside out of state: All modern firearms must be shipped to your local gun dealer and you must pass the FBI Instant Check before receiving your guns. Any transfer fee charged by your local dealer is your responsibility. If you cannot pass the Instant Check, the firearms will be returned to The Gunrunner and auctioned at the next auction a 15% commission will be charged. Please know your state firearm laws - we will not ship if the item is prohibited. Your firearm will be auctioned in the next sale and a check will be mailed to you minus a 15% consignment fee.

Antique firearms (those manufactured before 1898) may be mailed directly to your residence. C&R qualified firearms may be mailed to your residence when you provide us with a current, signed C&R license. Non-guns such as pellet guns, BB guns, curios, knives, swords, sporting accessories, etc. may be mailed directly to you as well as long as you are at least 18 years of age. We will determine the actual shipping rates for you on these items.

CAREFULLY NOTE IF YOU ARE NOT RESIDING IN THE USA:  We do NOT have an export license, therefore our "Terms of Sale" say you can NOT BID if you are not residing in the United States of America.  However, you may bid ONLY if you have a dealer in the USA who can receive your firearms from us and has an export license.  We also accept ONLY USA funds for the firearms if you win - expect delay in shipping our items until your bank check clears.  Call us if you are out of the country and wish to bid.  Carefully read "The Terms of Sale" section on this website for more information.  

To speed the entire shipping process, it is a good idea to send your local dealer’s FFL license or your C&R License to us in advance of the auction. We will keep these securely filed for future use. We guarantee we can provide a tracking number within ten days of the close of the auction, but this is contingent on your mailing of the required licenses. We exclusively use UPS.
