Colt Sauer Sporting Rifle, .25-06 cal. bolt action. Serial #CR6765, mfg. West Germany. Unfired. Factory box with manual. Beautiful rifle that was obviously hand-picked for its gorgeous European walnut stock with great swirls and burls. A most successful and desirable collaboration between J.P. Sauer and Colt during the 1970's and now realized as one of the great bolt actions. Detachable magazine - one included. 24" sporter barrel has no iron sights. Drilled and tapped for scope. Nice cut checkering at wrist and forearm. Rosewood/white spacers at forearm tip and pistol grip cap - "Prancing Colt" on bottom of pistol grip. Factory recoil pad. Tang safety. Includes factory box with correct end label, factory manual, sling swivels still in packaging and box of Redfield two-piece scout mounts. Wonderful gun that is very handsome!
