Colt Woodsman Match Target Model, .22 long rifle cal. semi-auto pistol. Serial #78047-S, mfg. 1950. Second Series. Excellent condition! The highly desirable and hard-to-find 2nd Series with 4 1/2" heavy match barrel. Excellent bore! 97% blue with some light thinning on the top of the slide, slight muzzle wear and some darker spots in the finish towards the muzzle. Good tight action. Colt Master rear target rear sights and double-pinned front sight. Magazine button release on left side. Colt marked checkered brown plastic grips with thumb shelf are excellent. One correct magazine. Beautiful piece! Long discontinued, long mourned... C&R OK.
