Smith & Wesson Model 27-2, .357 magnum cal. double action revolver. Serial #S282419, mfg. 1967. Good to very good condition. An "S" gun with the scarce 3 1/2" barrel. Barrel and frame are 98% blue and nice with just two little freckle marks on the left side of the frame, but cylinder shows some pitting marks/corrosion from improper storage (see photo). S&W silver monogrammed checkered target grips are excellent. Excellent bore. On the big N-Frame. Pinned barrel. Recessed cylinders. Checkered top strap and top of barrel which is correct for the "S" guns. Adjustable sights. Works great! If the cylinder is refinished, will be an excellent condition piece. Hard one to find!
