U.S. Springfield-Krag Model 1898, .30-40 cal. bolt action military rifle. Serial #464433, mfg. 1902. A favorite of the Spanish-American War. This specimen is in good condition with a good bore. 30" barrel with adjustable sights. 1902 dated inspector's cartouche on the left side of the wood. Metal has mostly a patina finish. Vivid markings. Some war marks on the wood. Good tight action. Grooved forearm. Lots of American fighting history in this war horse! C&R OK.
