Chicago Firearms Co. "Protector" Palm Pistol, .32 extra short rimfire cal. pocket pistol. Serial #6880, mfg. 1893. One of the coolest antiques you'll ever find - a real conversation piece - "The Protector". Real favorite of the high-class ladies in the 1880's and up until the turn of the century. Flashy and "uptown" looking and perfect for a jewled purse of the times... Unique seven-shot pistol fits your palm nicely and when you squeeze it fires. 2" engraved barrel. This specimen is in very good condition with 98% nickel finish - just some light black marks on the top of the grip. Hard rubber checkered panels on either side and on back of grip - excellent condition. Engraved on frame and barrel. Inside is very clean. Mechanism is tight and works well. Marked "Chicago Firearms Co., Chicago, Il." on left side and marked "The Protector Pat. Mich. 6, 83; Aug. 29, 93" on the right side. Great investment! A dandy! Antique.
