Winchester Model 1894, .30 WCF cal. lever action rifle. Serial #136632, mfg. 1902. Good to very good condition. Super gun with lots of factory features: Takedown, checkered pistol grip and forearm, Lyman Model 21 "swing-arm" peep receiver sight, flip-up globe/bead front sight and upgraded wood. 26" octagon nickel-steel barrel with excellent shiny bore and strong rifling. Completely original and really nice! Wow! Barrel and magazine tube have 90% blue which has some fading and edge wear. Receiver has 30% blue and is going to patina as usual. Wood has 50% original varnish and shows the usual marks. Pin trigger. Crescent butt. Winchester pistol grip cap. Tight action. Works wonderfully. This gun has "rode the range" for sure, but has been nicely cared for and is an outstanding collector piece in every way! I checked the gun through Cody and it came from the factory with all features I described as well as the Lyman sight. This nice rifle was received in the Winchester warehouse on Jan. 22, 1902 and left the warehouse on Jan. 23, 1902. As you know, it's very, very hard to find one of these in original condition with this many features. Will enhance any Winchester lever collection. C&R OK. We have several more pictures of this gun.
