Colt SAA "Engraving Sampler" 150th Anniversary, .45 Long Colt cal. single action revolver. Serial #SA73082, mfg. 1986 only by Colt Custom Shop. Unfired in box. Absolutely stunning looking high-polish nickel 4 3/4" gun with beautiful multi-style engraving (four different styles) on 60% of the gun - barrel, ejector rod, cylinder, frame and butt. 150th Anniversary of the most famous of all cowboy guns with ivory grips and special "150th" marked prancing pony monograms. Specially engraved "150th" symbol on top of grip strap. Very, very impressive looking and flashy! Colt's finest engravers (Nimschke 1850-1900, Helfricht 1871-1921, Henshaw 1831 and Contemporary) are in black script on the left grip and each of their styles are on the gun with great rendition. Marked "Colt Engraving Sampler" on back strap. "Pinched" top strap and older style "black powder" frame top it off nicely. Includes maroon factory box, manual and hang tag. Wow!
