Colt Model 1860 Army, .44 cal. percussion cap & ball single action revolver. Serial #12832, mfg. 1863. Civil War production. This 1860 Army and shoulder stock were found in a Cleveland attic stored in a backgammon box along with a bullet mold, two powder flasks and a tool. Very interesting piece with lots of Civil War history. Gun is gray and in fair condition with the screws turned and some possibly replaced. 8" round barrel. Cocks and indexes. Grips have quite a bit of wear and are cracked on right side and have erosion on butt. Matching serials numbers - there is a number on the loading lever as well (see photo). Brass trigger guard has a screw missing. Good bore. Shoulder stock appears vintage, but is stamped "Italy" and serialed #176. Includes two brass powder flasks, powder horn, bullet mold for round/minie balls and screwdriver/nipple tool. Antique. Will require extra shipping because of large wood box.
