EMF Sharps "1863-1866", .45-70 cal. single shot rifle. Serial #40603, mfg. Italy. Excellent condition, unfired. The "Old Reliable" reproduction and a very nice job with great wood and pretty case color. 28" heavy octagon barrel with globe front sight (inserts included). Flip-up rear buckhorn type sight and tang sight (not installed). Case colored receiver is 100%. Double set triggers need adjustment. Wood nicely figured with rolled checkering. Finish on barrel is satin blue. Factory box and papers. Only detraction is some little dings on the top of the wrist where the tang sight came back and struck the stock. Nice long range sillouette gun - will gong the steel way, way out there. Great big game rifle. A touch of the old frontier in the buffalo killing fields.
