German Luger, 1916 Navy, 9mm cal. auto military pistol. Serial #1534. World War I - created for German Navy and has distinctive 6" barrel with front dovetailed sight and rear high two-position rear sight. 90% blue with thinning on grip straps and edge wear. Very good bore. All matching serial numbers including matching wood-bottomed magazine. Straw is 10%. Wood checkered grips have some impressions and right panel has some relief against the grip frame where the magazine bolt comes through. Tight action. Marked on chamber ring and left side of frame: "1916". Marked on toggle "DWM". Slotted frame for shoulder stock. Correct Navy military proof marks of Crown "MM" on left side of upper. Great collector piece and one of the most highly sought after versions of the World War I Luger. C&R OK.
