U.S. Colt Model 1911, .45 cal. auto military pistol. Serial #351145, mfg. 1918. Standard U.S. officer's issue for World War I. Good condition. Mostly all gray gun with some blue on slide release, safety and some protected areas. Very good bore. Tight action. Vivid marks. 1913 patent date. Some scratches on slide as expected. Walnut checkered grips appear to be original and show quite a bit of smoothness and war marks. Marked on right side of slide: "Model of 1911 U.S. Army". Does not have "U.S. Property" marks. Lanyard loop. "S8" with eagle head on left side of frame. Military blue magazine in good condition with some corrosion marks. Works well! Nice collector piece of World War I and II. C&R OK.
