Colt Frontier Scout "Golden Spike Centennial 1869-1969", .22 long rifle cal. single action revolver. Serial #10783GS, mfg. 1969 only. Very good condition. Created in 1969 to commemorate the historical event of the two famous railroad being united. Winchester also did a commemorative rifle the same year. This specimen is very flashy indeed with Colt Royal Blue on the barrel, frame and back straps. Gold plated cylinder, ejector housing/rod, cylinder pin, frame screws hammer and trigger. Smooth grips with Colt monogram. Some nicks on the barrel and frame that keep it from excellent status. Maybe the slightest of cylinder ring. Pretty little thing! No box or papers. C&R OK.
